I used to keep mine in 3-ring binders, because most of them came already punched with holes for storage. I recently changed my whole craft area and now use a filing cabinet. I've placed the templates in hanging folders, filed by shape: circles, hearts, squares, rectangles, and ovals. I usually know what shape I want before I pull out the templates, so it is just a matter of pulling that file and sizing the template to the photo.
References :
I bought plastic templates to use for cards and bookmarks. I store them in a 3 ring binder since they came with holes punched in the side. Mine are dark colored, so I'll add a white sheet of paper between each one so I can see it easier.
References :
All of my cricuts have a square usb port on the back. It looks like the one on my printer. The cord (you can buy at an electronic store) is a square usb on one end and a regular, rectangle, usb on the other.

Provo Craft is not affiliated with SCAL and suggest you do not use it. however I do have SCAL and have not had a problem with it and it has not interfered with my Cricut Design Studio software. My machines are no longer under warranty though. hth
References :
Proud Cricut and Gypsy owner

I suggest you try one of the following:
www.cricut.com
www.provocraft.com
or search in Yahoo groups for the Cricut. I know there are several user groups where all your cricut questions can be answered.
References :
I use a Silhouette - not the Cricut but I hear they are fantastic.
